After extracting:
- A strainer is essential for removing bee bits and wax from your honey.
- The nylon cappings strainer is useful for purifying the wax when melted as well as getting the dregs of honey out of your wax cappings. It is easy to hook this useful aid into your extractor and give it a whirl to speed the process up.
- 20L Pails with lid and honey gate are perfect for storing honey.
- Stainless Steel Honey Storage (settling) tanks with strainer and stainless steel honey gate from 50kg to 225kg manufactured by Civan in Turkey.

The uncapping roller rolls easily over capped frames to pierce the cells.
This reduces the amount of wax removed when extracting as it doesn’t destroy the comb foundation.If you are extracting manuka honey, it is necessary to prick the comb with a roller as this agitates the honey which aids extraction.

Electric 4-frame extractor

Hive World’s Electric 4-frame extractor makes your extracting a breeze. Ideal for hobbyists, this economical model costs little more than a manual model and will do your work with very little effort on your part.
The variable speed motor means you can start gently and gradually increase the speed to avoid damaging the foundation. The tangential extraction method is especially suited to manuka honey as it empties the frames more efficiently. By pricking your comb before extracting, you will be able to draw the honey out gently and use the comb more than once.
This model comes complete with honey gate for easy emptying. As an added safety measure the lids have switches that cut out when opened. This double stainless steel honey strainer is the best way to filter honey directly from your extractor. It removes wax particles and other foreign material anywhere you are needing filtering with a coarse strainer of 1000-micron and fine strainer of 500-micron.
