• System includes 1 x queen excluder (optional), 2 x side slots, 1 x end slots, 2 x small back corners, 2 x front corners and 1 x front reversible landing slot.
• works by providing an opening for the bees above the queen excluder.
• The beekeeper can thus close the entrance of the hive keeping the queen within the brood box.  This ensures that she is unable to swarm and leave the hive  bereft of bees without warning.  If the bees do swarm, they will quickly return when they discover the queen is not with them.
• The plastic covers slot over the queen excluder and form a beetight fit.
• The Paradise Queen Trap system works best with the Paradise Bee Box Supers as the plastic covers increase the size of the excluder to 458mm x 555mm.   This makes them stick out over the side on the regular timber supers used in New Zealand.  However, this doesn’t stop their effectiveness.
