• It is advisable to have two escapes on each board as this increases the speed of emptying.  It is also useful in case one escape gets blocked.
• The porter bee escape has a one way route to prevent the bees returning to the empty super.
• Escape boards are ideal for using in urban apiaries where you can easily visit twice in 24 hours.  This is because one trip is necessary to install the escape board and then one to collect the empty supers.
