• Cleverly designed base incorporates an aluminium extruded varroa mesh for year round ventilation as well as preventing condensation.
• Space to insert a slide in plate to easily monitor your Varroa problem.  (Only recommended while monitoring varroa or if you need to warm the brood area to encourage early spring build-up.  Otherwise leave open).
• The Paradise Hive Bottom requires two coats of exterior grade acrylic paint to be ready for years of use.
• Aluminium mesh eliminates corrosion from rust or acidic treatments for varroa.   Simply attach to hive bottom using self-tapping screws.
